Exits MENA to Acquire Avanz Capital Egypt in Multi-Seven-Figure Deal

Egypt-based investment advisory platform Exits MENA has signed a multi-seven-figure deal with Avanz Capital Egypt’s local management to fully acquire the private equity and asset management firm.

The transaction has received initial approval from Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority. Avanz Capital Egypt’s existing management team, led by CEO and Managing Director Haytham Wagih, will remain in place.

Founded in 2022 by Mohamed Abuelnaga Nagaty, Ayman El Tanbouly and Ahella El Saban, Exits MENA provides M&A, fundraising, investment readiness and advisory services to startups and SMEs.

Following the acquisition, Avanz Capital Egypt is expected to be rebranded as Exits Manara, Exits MENA’s private capital and asset management subsidiary. The business will continue managing Manara 1, an existing fund of funds focused on SMEs, and plans to launch Manara 2 for Export Investments.

According to the announcement, the new vehicle will target mid-sized Egyptian exporters seeking to expand into international markets. The acquisition will bring Exits MENA’s advisory services together with private equity and asset management capabilities, while keeping advisory mandates and investment decisions separate.

The deal is part of Exits MENA’s strategy to build an integrated financial group serving startups, SMEs, investors and financial institutions across Egypt and the wider MENA region.
