Flowdesk has secured a full Broker-Dealer licence from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), allowing its local entity, Flowdesk Omega FZE, to serve qualified and institutional investors in and from the emirate.
The approval follows the company’s in-principle authorisation from VARA in June and completes the regulator’s multi-stage licensing process, according to the announcement.
Guilhem Chaumont, Co-Founder and CEO of Flowdesk Group, said the licence marks an important milestone for the company and reflects its work across governance, compliance, risk management and institutional-grade market infrastructure. He also described the UAE as central to Flowdesk’s growth.
Flowdesk provides liquidity and virtual asset trading technology, including over-the-counter trading, liquidity solutions and tokenised market services for institutional clients and digital asset issuers.
The Dubai approval expands the company’s international regulatory footprint. Its European entity separately received Crypto-Asset Service Provider authorisation from France’s AMF under the EU’s MiCA framework in June.
