Gaza Sky Geeks has signed a new round of partnership agreements with coworking spaces across Gaza, expanding access to learning, remote work, entrepreneurship and digital opportunities, the organisation said.
The move follows a pilot that positioned coworking spaces as hubs for students, freelancers, startups, remote employees and job seekers. According to Gaza Sky Geeks, the spaces helped students continue their education, freelancers connect with global clients, startups develop ideas and remote workers maintain their jobs.
The new partnerships will extend the model to more communities across Gaza and strengthen local infrastructure supporting digital work and entrepreneurship. The organisation said the expansion is backed by coworking space operators working to create opportunities despite significant challenges.
Gaza Sky Geeks is also seeking support for coworking access, including sponsorships for seats at $100 per month, as it works to keep the territory’s digital community connected.
