Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship (GIE) and Classera have signed a strategic partnership to develop training, skills development and digital transformation initiatives across Egypt and the Arab region.

Announced in Cairo in August 2026, the agreement combines GIE’s experience in designing and managing innovation, entrepreneurship and capacity-building programs with Classera’s expertise in learning technology and digital training.

The companies said they will create specialized programs covering digital and technical skills, creative thinking and problem-solving. The partnership will also support institutions in managing training programs through Classera’s LeadXera platform, which covers planning, registration, scheduling, attendance, content management and measurement of training outcomes.

The collaboration is expected to support future joint initiatives for individuals and institutions, including programs focused on innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems. GIE and Classera said the work is aimed at helping participants and organizations respond to changing labor-market and digital-economy needs.

As an early example, a joint program for the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority in the United Arab Emirates trained more than 2,000 citizens and residents through a virtual summer camp. It also included 150 students in Abu Dhabi and 150 in Dubai, with sessions focused on digital and technical skills and emerging technology fields.
