Google DeepMind has launched three new Gemini models aimed at improving speed, cost efficiency and reliability for developers and enterprises building AI agents and other production applications.

The lineup includes Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber. According to the company, Gemini 3.6 Flash is designed for coding, knowledge work and multimodal applications, while using up to 17% fewer tokens than Gemini 3.5 Flash. Google said this could help reduce inference costs while maintaining fast response times.

Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite is positioned as the company’s most cost-efficient Flash model so far. It targets high-volume tasks such as summarization, information extraction and classification.

Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber is a specialized model for identifying and helping remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Google said it will initially be available only to governments and trusted partners through a limited-access pilot.

The company also confirmed that Gemini 3.5 Pro is being tested with partners and is expected to launch soon. Google has begun its most ambitious pre-training run yet for Gemini 4, according to Product Lead Logan Kilpatrick.
