HP Inc. has launched Garage 2.0, a Saudi Arabia-based incubator focused on helping startups develop artificial intelligence solutions. The initiative was announced on the first day of LEAP 2026.

Named after the Palo Alto garage where HP was founded, Garage 2.0 will bring together startups, educators, industry partners and HP specialists. According to the company, the programme aims to support skills development and help founders build solutions aligned with Saudi Arabia’s AI and future-of-work priorities.

Fadle Saad, managing director of HP’s regional headquarters, said the initiative reflects the company’s view that lasting innovation begins with people and requires the skills and opportunities to turn ideas into practical results.

Garage 2.0 is part of HP’s broader activity in Saudi Arabia. The company said its AI R&D Center of Excellence in Dhahran, announced at LEAP 2025, is now developing tools including HP Agent One, an Arabic-capable AI system for IT support, and FlowMaster, which uses OCR and multimodal AI to automate document-heavy processes.

The centre is also working on Arabic large language model capabilities focused on the Najdi dialect using Saudi datasets. HP added that its Riyadh manufacturing facility, opened in October 2025, has entered commercial production and is shipping locally made products across the Kingdom.
