Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN has acquired a controlling interest in CNTXT, a Riyadh-based cloud and digital services company formed by Aramco and Cognite in 2022.
The announcement came two days after Aramco completed its acquisition of a 49% stake in HUMAIN, transferring certain technology assets and operations to the national AI company. Financial details of the CNTXT transaction were not disclosed.
CNTXT expands HUMAIN’s offering across enterprise AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity and professional services. The company serves more than 400 corporate and government customers, including operators of critical infrastructure, and is Google Cloud’s reseller in Saudi Arabia.
According to the announcement, CNTXT’s revenue has grown more than fourfold over the past three years. Its services include cloud transformation, managed cloud, data and analytics, AI, cybersecurity, enterprise integration and ongoing support, alongside proprietary technology products.
The deal gives HUMAIN a broader route into enterprise and public-sector deployments, covering planning, implementation, production and managed services. Cognite’s position following the transaction was not disclosed.
