Jordan’s Ministry of Youth has concluded an Arab programme focused on entrepreneurship in sports, bringing together 40 young men and women from 15 Arab countries.
The programme was organised by the ministry’s Youth Leadership Preparation Centre in partnership with the League of Arab States, as part of Amman’s Arab Youth Capital 2025 activities. It aimed to strengthen participants’ entrepreneurial skills and encourage youth participation in business and economic development.
Youth Minister Raed Sami Al-Adwan said the initiative reflected joint Arab efforts to empower young people and build their capabilities. The closing ceremony was attended by representatives from the Arab League and Jordan’s Ministry of Youth, according to Petra.
Speaking on behalf of the participating delegations, Libyan delegate Alaa Al-Kilani highlighted the role of sports entrepreneurship in supporting economic development and praised Jordan’s hosting of the programme. Participants also presented a set of recommendations before exchanging commemorative shields.
