Jordan FinTech Academy has partnered with the MENA Fintech Association (MFTA) to expand knowledge-sharing, training and professional development across the region’s financial technology sector.

The collaboration will connect Jordanian professionals with MFTA’s regional network through specialised workshops, expert and speaker exchanges, and fintech curricula tailored to industry needs. The partners also plan to explore joint research opportunities and connect entrepreneurs and academics with regional investors, according to the announcement.

The memorandum of understanding was formalised during the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026, organised by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ). The regulator’s support is intended to align Jordan’s fintech development with regional standards and international best practices.

The partnership will focus on areas including digital payments, artificial intelligence and open finance. Dr. Riyad Al-Hindawi, director of the Institute of Banking Studies, described the agreement as a channel for exchanging expertise between Jordan and the wider MENA fintech ecosystem.

Nameer Khan, chairman and founder of MFTA, said the organisations would build workshops, training programmes and other knowledge initiatives around the technologies shaping financial services.
