The “Made by Yemenis” 2026 initiative is accepting applications from Yemeni innovators developing products, services, ideas or business models that address challenges in climate change adaptation, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), or broader humanitarian and development needs in Yemen.

Individuals, teams, startups and organisations can apply from inside or outside Yemen. Selected innovations will receive expert technical guidance, capacity-building support, assistance with developing and testing solutions, and documentation to help strengthen their impact and scalability. Each selected innovation will also receive €5,000 in financial support, according to the announcement.

The initiative is delivered under the Humanitarian System Transformation through Local Humanitarian Leadership (HST-LHL) program, led by Oxfam, in partnership with the Response Innovation Lab (RIL) and implemented by CPS Foundation for Development.

The updated application deadline is August 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Yemen time. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
