Magna AI, a sovereign AI company established by Trend Micro and Wistron, has announced a strategic collaboration with Saudi Xerox to develop sovereign AI infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. The agreement, formalized at the Global AI Show 2026 in Riyadh, aims to accelerate large-scale AI adoption in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

Tapping a Rapidly Growing Market
The partnership aims to build out AI data centers, sovereign “AI Factory” capabilities, and secure AI platforms for both government and enterprise clients. This move comes as Saudi Arabia’s AI data center market is projected to expand significantly, with Mordor Intelligence forecasting growth from $0.63 billion in 2025 to $1.74 billion by 2030, a compound annual growth rate of over 22%.
The growth is fueled by massive digital investments under Vision 2030, government mandates for data sovereignty, and increasing demand for locally hosted AI workloads.

Defining Roles for National Transformation
Under the agreement, Magna AI will lead the architecture of AI Factories, platform development, and the implementation of AI security and governance frameworks. Saudi Xerox will handle local infrastructure integration, security operations, compliance, and on-the-ground execution throughout the Kingdom.
The collaboration will focus on several key areas, including the development of AI Factories for large-scale model training and agentic AI operations, all aligned with Saudi data-residency and cybersecurity requirements.
