Manar Foundation will host the seventh session of its Hakaya Athar program on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, exploring how local communities can develop solutions to humanitarian challenges.
The online session will feature Ruba Hijazi, head of programs at Response Innovation Lab. She will discuss supporting local innovation, working with communities and innovators, and designing solutions based on real needs and local contexts.
The conversation will also cover how ideas move from early concepts to practical innovations, drawing on lessons from work across different humanitarian settings. The session will be held in Arabic and streamed live on YouTube at 7:00 p.m. Mecca time.
Hakaya Athar is aimed at Arab youth, community-sector professionals, volunteer teams, researchers, students and others interested in impact entrepreneurship and social innovation. The program combines personal stories, live discussion and practical knowledge outputs.
