Marrakech hosted the Moroccans of the World Entrepreneurs Awards, an event celebrating the significant investment and entrepreneurial drive of the Moroccan diaspora. The ceremony, which marked the conclusion of the 2nd Economic Forum for Moroccans of the World, recognized companies founded in Morocco by Moroccans living abroad, highlighting them as models of strategic innovation and economic dynamism.

Honoring Leaders in Digital Transformation
The awards for “Investment” and “Innovation” both went to leaders pushing Morocco’s digital and consulting sectors forward.
The “Investment Award” was presented to Kamal Bouzir, co-founder and CEO of BC SKILLS, a firm focused on human capital consulting, digital transformation, and service outsourcing. Organizers praised his “vision, dynamism, and continued commitment” and his effective contribution to promoting investment and enhancing Morocco’s economic profile.
Mohamed Bouzidi, CEO and co-founder of Devoteam Morocco, a consulting firm specializing in new technologies, received the “Innovation Award.” His company was recognized as one that “excellently embodies boldness, creativity, and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities.”
Celebrating Sustainable Economic Impact
The “Economic Impact Award” was given to Dr. Hafsa Chkibi, a PhD engineer in physical chemistry and founder of Flora Synesis. Her company, which specializes in the distillation of aromatic roses in Kelaat M’gouna, was honored for its commitment to contributing effectively to economic development through an ambitious and sustainable vision.
These three categories celebrate diaspora-led businesses that have introduced notable innovations, contributed significantly to productive investment and job creation, and strengthened the Kingdom’s economic influence internationally.
