Miralac from the UAE and Bahrain’s Early Riser took the top two spots at StartUp GCC, a startup showcase held in Bahrain for companies working in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Miralac won first place, while Early Riser finished second. Oman’s Muscat Forge and Qatar’s Enavra also participated in the event, presenting their business models, solutions and expansion plans.

Held on the sidelines of the Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition from October 6 to 8, the event was organised by Bahrain’s Labour Fund Tamkeen and the SME Development Board, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The participating startups presented their ventures to a judging panel made up of investors, entrepreneurship experts and industrial specialists. The panel assessed innovation, business-model scalability, market opportunity, potential impact and the companies’ ability to expand into new markets.

StartUp GCC was designed to connect GCC startups with investors, private-sector representatives and potential partners, while creating opportunities for regional collaboration. According to the announcement, Tamkeen’s support is part of its 2026 priorities around private-sector competitiveness and the growth of startups with strong economic impact.
