Morocco Tax Authority Sets October 1 Deadline for 2026 Payments

Morocco’s General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) has set October 1 as the deadline for several tax declarations and payments covering companies and taxpayers.

Companies whose accounting year follows the calendar year must pay their third provisional corporate income tax installment for 2026 electronically through the SIMPL-IS service on the DGI portal.

The DGI also said eligible companies can submit an electronic declaration to avoid a subsequent installment if payments already made for 2026 equal or exceed their final tax liability. The declaration must be filed at least 15 days before the next installment is due.

Taxpayers whose professional income falls under Morocco’s Unified Professional Contribution regime and who pay quarterly must also settle their third installment by October 1 through SIMPL-CPU. The authority did not specify an amount.

Businesses subject to stamp duties paid through declaration must declare and pay duties for August by the same deadline. These include receipt duties, stamp duties on screen advertising and fixed stamp duties, using the SIMPL-Enregistrement et Timbre service.

For assistance, taxpayers can contact the DGI support center at SIMPL@tax.gov.ma or 05 37 27 37 27.
