Omani Tech Talent Invited To Join Itqan Capacity Building Program

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour, has launched the “Itqan” program to empower Omani national competencies in information technology. This initiative aims to transform innovative technical ideas into practical solutions that support the future of housing and urban planning in the Sultanate, aligning with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

Bootcamp Overview

The Itqan program is an intensive innovation journey designed to solve real technical challenges within the property registration system. It begins with a 5-day competitive bootcamp where 50 selected participants will dive deep into problem analysis, user journey mapping, and solution prototyping. Following the bootcamp, 10 top performers will be selected to join a 6-month paid training program to implement their solutions directly within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

Eligible Omani graduates must submit their applications through the official Itqan platform. The selection process includes a screening of applicants followed by interviews to select the final 50 participants for the bootcamp.
