Parkin Signs MoU to Expand Smart Parking Technology into Egypt

Dubai-listed paid parking provider Parkin is expanding into Egypt through a memorandum of understanding with Modon Misr for Asset and Facility Management, Mwasalat Misr and Redcon Properties.

The partners will explore deploying Parkin’s smart parking solutions across parking assets managed by the Egyptian companies. The technology includes automatic number plate recognition, AI-enabled parking cameras, barrierless parking systems, digital permits and parking management platforms.

The agreement is Parkin’s latest international expansion as it takes its technology-driven parking model beyond Dubai. The company said the partnership will support the management of parking assets while allowing it to work with local operators and property developers in Egypt.

Last month, Parkin announced its first expansion outside Dubai through a partnership with master developer Arada to introduce its smart paid parking system in Sharjah.
