Velaura AI has raised $110M in a Series A round that values the US-based company at more than $1B, with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures, the Aramco-affiliated investment firm.

Seligman Ventures led the round. Capricorn Investment Group also joined as a new investor, while existing backers including Mayfield and Samsung Catalyst participated, according to the announcement.

Velaura develops low-power silicon and software designed to improve energy efficiency across AI infrastructure. Its target markets include large data centers, robotics and autonomous systems, where power availability and cooling are increasingly important constraints.

The company is developing Titan Core, a digital chip platform it says can deliver two to four times better performance per watt than conventional chips without sacrificing processing speed.

Velaura was formerly known as Auradine, which previously raised $153M in a Series C round. The company changed its name in March 2026 following a broad restructuring and a strategic shift toward low-power computing. The announcement also named Manu Gulati and Aditya Grover as founding advisers.

Velaura is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and was founded by Rajiv, Manu Gulati, Sanjay Gupta and YJ Kim.
