Saudi Ministry of Health Launches SHIFT Accelerator for Digital Health Startups

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has launched SHIFT, an accelerator for startups working in digital health, medical technology and healthcare artificial intelligence, in partnership with Siemens Healthineers.

The program is aimed at Saudi startups with a minimum viable product that are addressing priority healthcare challenges. According to the announcement, participants will be supported in developing and validating their solutions, testing them in real healthcare settings, and preparing for wider expansion.

SHIFT will connect startups with healthcare providers, innovation ecosystem partners, and regulatory and implementation bodies. Its focus areas include improving health data integration, expanding healthcare services and patient experience, scaling preventive health programs, strengthening the regulatory environment for technology and innovation, expanding digital health services, and improving the efficiency of healthcare resource use.

Applications are open until August 27, 2026. The announcement directs interested startups to apply through the program registration link.
