Qatar’s national AI company Qai will deploy its advanced GPU infrastructure inside a Tier III-certified data centre operated by Qatari managed IT services provider MEEZA.
The arrangement will keep Qai’s compute services and customer data in Qatar, under the country’s data protection and cybersecurity regulations. MEEZA will provide high-density power and managed services covering infrastructure operations, monitoring and hardware lifecycle management.
The companies did not disclose the deal’s financial terms or the number of GPUs involved. The setup allows Qai to provide local AI computing capacity without building and operating the data centre infrastructure itself, while offering government departments and enterprises a way to run AI workloads under Qatari jurisdiction.
MEEZA operates five certified data centres in Qatar with combined capacity of 18MW. Its facilities serve government and enterprise customers and include Tier III and ISO 27001 certifications.
Qai was launched in December 2025 to develop, manage and invest in AI infrastructure in Qatar and overseas, including high-performance computing and scalable AI solutions for key sectors.
