Qatar-based fintech startup GRO Solutions has raised $600K in a pre-seed round led by GrowthX Capital, according to the announcement.
Founded in Doha in 2025 by Mariia Shevchenko alongside co-founders from Ukraine and Germany, GRO is developing an AI-powered personal finance platform. It analyzes users’ spending and saving patterns to provide tailored guidance for individuals and families.
The startup aims to address gaps in traditional financial education, including how consumers understand newer products such as buy now, pay later services. GRO joined the Qatar FinTech Hub incubator, run by Qatar Development Bank, in May 2025.
The investment coincides with GrowthX Capital’s launch of a QAR 500M ($137M) fund targeting fast-growing startups over the next five years.
GRO said it plans to use the funding to expand its team, engage more closely with the local community and develop features for families and children. Its longer-term roadmap includes financial education tools for children that could combine money concepts with games and other digital experiences.
