Epic Markets has raised $10M in a pre-seed round backed exclusively by Karatage to develop a multi-asset brokerage platform for retail investors.
The company plans to bring execution standards typically associated with institutional trading to individual traders in the United States and the UAE. Its platform is expected to support multiple asset classes, with a focus on execution speed, liquidity and technology-enabled access.
Founded in 2026 by former Citadel Securities executives Kevin Kimmel and Bryan Seegers, Epic Markets is seeking to narrow the gap between institutional trading infrastructure and the tools available to retail investors.
This is the fintech startup’s first publicly disclosed funding round. According to the announcement, the $10M investment will be used to build the brokerage platform.
