Qatar Foundation’s BilAraby initiative is seeing significant global interest for its 2026 Annual Gathering, receiving more than 1,600 applications from speakers and creators across 34 countries. The Doha-based event, scheduled for September 19-20, is being organized under the theme ‘With Our Ideas, We Build’ and aims to spotlight Arabic as a language of modern thought and innovation.

A Global Platform for Arab Innovators

With ticket sales now open to the public, the BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026 will be held at Multaqa (Education City Student Center). The program is set to feature main-stage talks, workshops, and panel discussions focused on critical contemporary issues.

The event reinforces BilAraby’s mission to provide a platform for Arabic-speaking minds to showcase forward-looking ideas in fields ranging from technology and environmental sustainability to education and digital content. The goal is to celebrate Arabic as a living language for creation, not just expression, and to strengthen its presence in the digital world.

Strong Global Interest From 34 Nations

The volume and diversity of applications underscore the initiative’s growing impact. Following an evaluation process, a preliminary shortlist of speakers has been selected to present practical solutions for development and human-centered progress.

The geographic spread of applicants highlights the platform’s inclusivity, with candidates from Qatar, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and across the wider MENA region. BilAraby’s reach also extends to Arabic speakers in non-Arab countries, including the US, Malaysia, France, Portugal, Russia, and Canada, reflecting a truly global interest in the summit.
