Al Dhakhira Girls Forum has concluded “She Innovates,” a two-day entrepreneurship event designed to help Qatari women turn business ideas into testable and developable projects.

Held under the patronage of Qatar’s Ministry of Sports and Youth, and organised with the Young Entrepreneurs Club (Y.E.C.) and other partners, the event combined entrepreneurship, design, artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

Participants worked on identifying customer problems and target users, developing value propositions and initial business models, creating prototypes, and preparing launch plans. Workshops also covered customer needs, AI tools for research and early-stage design, and pitching ideas to mentors.

Maryam Saleh Malhiya won first place. Reem Al Suwaidi took second place with “Planted,” a social entrepreneurship project that aims to promote food-growing and self-sufficiency by teaching children and adults basic gardening skills. Saleha Al Nuaimi received third place.

The event was supported by Al Dhakhira Girls Center and Al Sanounou Company. Participants said the programme helped them build practical skills, gain feedback and develop ideas with potential social impact.
