Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Fund has signed a cooperation agreement with Herf Saudi to support the growth of businesses operating in the handicrafts sector and expand market opportunities for their products.
According to the announcement, the partnership will develop joint services and solutions to help handicraft businesses strengthen their operational and commercial readiness, expand sales channels and reach a wider customer base.
The agreement was signed by Cultural Fund CEO Majed bin Abdulmohsen Al Hokail and Herf Saudi CEO Ibrahim Al Nasser.
The initiative is also intended to help turn Saudi Arabia’s handicraft heritage into more sustainable economic opportunities by supporting businesses as they develop and scale. The fund said the partnership forms part of its role in providing financial and enabling solutions for cultural businesses and projects at different stages of growth.
The agreement brings together the cultural sector and private sector to improve support for handicraft businesses and strengthen their access to markets. It also aligns with efforts under Saudi Arabia’s National Culture Strategy and Vision 2030 to enable cultural enterprises and increase the contribution of creative activities to the national economy.
