The Saudi Cultural Fund is exploring partnerships with investors and entrepreneurs in France to expand financing and investment opportunities across the cultural sector, according to the announcement.
The fund participated in the Saudi-French Investment Roundtable in Paris, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment during the official visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to France.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the fund signed two memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening cultural investment and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France.
The first agreement, with Auditoire, will explore support for the growth and sustainability of cultural events and experiences. It will also examine financing solutions to help the company expand in Saudi Arabia, attract international cultural events and exchange expertise.
The second MoU, with LÂM Paris, focuses on expanding the global presence of Saudi culture and creativity. Areas of potential cooperation include showcasing Saudi culinary arts internationally, creating training opportunities for Saudi chefs in Paris and developing hospitality experiences that highlight Saudi culture.
The fund said the agreements are expected to create new opportunities for Saudi creatives and support broader international partnerships for the cultural sector.
