Saudi fintech company NearPay has launched a banking platform designed to help financial institutions and payment companies manage and operate digital financial services through a single system.
According to the announcement, the platform combines merchant operations, payments, settlements and digital financial services. Its tools include an acquiring platform, merchant dashboard, partner hub, Wallet-as-a-Service and an issuance platform.
NearPay said the platform offers 186 features across more than 31 operational areas, giving customers greater control over their financial operations and the ability to expand their services. It also integrates with the company’s Radar system for fraud-risk monitoring, security and regulatory compliance.
NearPay’s wider offering includes SoftPOS technology, which enables NFC-enabled Android devices to accept payments. The company said it is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank and supports more than 2,500 Android mobile devices, alongside tablets and Android point-of-sale systems.
