Saudi Arabia’s national AI company, HUMAIN, is developing a model-agnostic orchestration platform to address a critical gap in the Kingdom’s AI infrastructure. The platform, announced by CEO Tareq Amin, is expected to launch within the next two months and will provide a unified system for accessing and optimizing the performance of various leading AI models.

A Missing Layer in the Kingdom’s AI Stack
Tareq Amin revealed the company is building the platform to function as a central nervous system for the nation’s AI resources. It is designed to handle intelligent model routing, GPU-agnostic optimization, and inference performance tuning. This addresses what Amin described as a missing piece in Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure: a single system capable of aggregating access to different frontier models and giving enterprises a unified point of entry.
The platform will also feature an open model marketplace, allowing businesses to select the best model for any given workload rather than being locked into a single provider. The primary objective is to maximize performance per watt and per GPU, with the ultimate goal of delivering what HUMAIN calls the “world’s lowest-cost AI token.”
Betting on a Multi-Model Future
HUMAIN’s strategy signals a significant move away from focusing on a single national AI model. Instead, the Kingdom is embracing a more heterogeneous approach, and HUMAIN is betting that owning the routing and optimization layer is a more effective path to reducing AI access costs for users across Saudi Arabia.
According to Amin, the software layer—not just the deployment of more computing power—is where HUMAIN sees the greatest strategic opportunity for advancing Saudi Arabia’s AI ambitions.
Integrating ALLaM, DeepSeek, Grok, and Cohere
The orchestration platform will manage at least four major AI models currently deployed or planned for deployment on the nation’s sovereign infrastructure:
- ALLaM: HUMAIN’s sovereign Arabic model, originally developed by SDAIA, which already powers HUMAIN Chat.
- DeepSeek: A Chinese LLM running in Aramco Digital’s Dammam data centers to improve sustainability and predict equipment health.
- Grok: xAI’s model, deployed nationwide through HUMAIN ONE for government and enterprise solutions.
- Cohere: An AI model deployment expected following a 50-megawatt compute partnership, which includes Arabic model development.
