SmartX Hackathon 2026 will bring teams together at EME Innovation Labs in Creativa Giza to develop practical solutions for challenges in smart industry and smart healthcare.
Organized by Origin Integrated Systems and IEEE EMBS CUSB, the hackathon will select 20 teams, with each team made up of three to five members. Participants will receive technical and business support as they refine their prototypes and business models.
The challenge will culminate in a Final Day on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Teams will compete for a total prize pool of EGP 60,000.
The organizers said the event is designed around real-world biomedical and industrial problems, giving participants limited time and practical constraints to test and improve their ideas.
