StartGate has opened applications for the fifth cohort of its Agri-Food Tech Incubator in Morocco, targeting startups and innovators working across agriculture and food technology.
The cohort includes dedicated places for startups developing solutions across the olive value chain, ventures focused on other agricultural and agri-food value chains, and innovators from technical and vocational education and training institutions.
Selected participants will receive hybrid training covering business, agricultural sciences and soft skills, along with tailored mentorship, fundraising support, networking opportunities and help building strategic collaborations to improve visibility and market access, according to the announcement.
The programme’s support includes technical and business training, one-to-one mentoring, fundraising guidance and access to an entrepreneurial pathway that runs from idea submission and selection through bootcamps, a pitch programme and a Demo Day.
Applications close on 13 September 2026. The incubator is developed jointly by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and IAV Hassan II, and supports startups working in areas including smart and sustainable agriculture, animal production and health, biotechnology, circular economy and waste-management technologies.
