Startup Syria has opened applications for Elevate Damascus, a selective three-day residency for leaders and decision-makers shaping Syria’s entrepreneurship, investment and innovation ecosystem.
The program will take place in Damascus from November 2 to 4, 2026, in collaboration with Blackbox and in partnership with Accelerate Prosperity. It will bring together experts, investors and founders for practical sessions, peer exchange and collaboration.
Participants will explore startup ecosystems, venture capital, investment evaluation, and how to build, fund and scale startups in emerging markets. The program also aims to help participants strengthen networks across Syria and connect local ecosystems with global investors and opportunities, according to the announcement.
The opportunity is designed for executives and decision-makers from financial institutions and investors, technology companies, universities and research institutions, incubators, accelerators and other ecosystem organizations. Startup Syria said participants will be selected based on their experience, leadership potential and ability to contribute to and benefit from the program.
Applications close on October 26, 2026, with the selected cohort due to be announced on October 30.
