The Syria Cyber Shield Summit 2026 will bring together cybersecurity and digital transformation experts, policymakers and industry representatives in a virtual edition hosted on Zoom.
Organised by the Syrian Computer Society in cooperation with international organiser Consensus, the summit will focus on building a trusted, secure and inclusive digital environment in Syria. Its agenda covers cyber law and policy, security leadership, threat detection and incident response, industrial and critical infrastructure security, cybersecurity awareness, and innovation and investment in startups.
The programme will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions and interactive workshops. Speakers include Syrian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdul Salam Heikal and Sinan Hatahat, chairman of the Syrian Computer Society, alongside Syrian, Arab and international experts.
The event is aimed at cybersecurity and IT professionals, universities, government and private-sector organisations, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and others working on digital transformation. The organisers said the summit will also provide opportunities to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and discuss practical cybersecurity challenges.
