Syrian healthtech startup Moadna has received approval from the country’s Ministry of Health after meeting its regulatory and technical requirements, according to an announcement by the company.
Moadna said it is the first comprehensive platform focused on medical appointment booking and clinic management to receive the approval in Syria. The platform has also secured temporary approval from the National Authority for Information Technology Services while it completes the process for final accreditation.
The Damascus-based startup allows patients to book appointments and helps doctors manage scheduling, patient records, billing and expenses through one platform.
The announcement comes as Moadna reports more than 12,000 registered users, 560 doctors and over 4,500 medical appointments booked through its platform and applications.
Founded in 2025, Moadna said the approval marks the start of a new phase focused on expansion and further development of digital health services in Syria.
