Percent Labs, a Syrian cloud-kitchen startup, has closed a seed round at a valuation of more than $1M, according to the announcement. The round was backed by angel investors from the Syrian diaspora.
Launched 14 months ago, Percent Labs develops and operates multiple food brands through a shared cloud-kitchen infrastructure instead of opening a separate restaurant for each concept. The company uses artificial intelligence to manage operations, analyse data and support decision-making.
Percent Labs currently handles more than 10,000 orders per month across its brands. It is targeting more than 40,000 monthly orders over the next 18 months.
The new funding will support increased operating capacity, the expansion of existing brands and the launch of new food concepts. The company also plans to expand geographically and reach new customer segments, according to the announcement.
