Three Egyptian graduates have launched Fin-Game, an interactive digital program designed to help young people learn the basics of saving, money management, financial planning and investing.
The project was developed by Habiba Ahmed, Maryam Emad and Samihah Ahmed, graduates of the Faculty of Economics at May University. It uses game-based simulations rather than traditional academic lessons, allowing users to navigate everyday financial situations and see the outcomes of their decisions.
Scenarios cover managing personal spending, setting financial goals, saving toward them and understanding basic investment principles. According to the team, the idea emerged from a perceived gap in financial literacy among young people, with the goal of making financial education practical and engaging.
Fin-Game previously reached the top 10 projects in the Elevate Lab program from more than 1,000 entries and was later recognised among the program’s winning projects.
The founders said Elevate Lab also connected them with experts, investors and specialists in entrepreneurship and financial technology. They now aim to develop Fin-Game into a broader youth-focused financial education platform, supported by additional digital tools and future expansion.
