Digital freight transportation company TruKKer is migrating its platform to Tencent Cloud’s local cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia under an agreement designed to support its expansion in the Kingdom.
The move will also strengthen TruKKer’s technology operations through AI-powered development tools. The company plans to use Tencent Cloud’s CodeBuddy coding assistant across its development and DevOps teams, with features including code completion, project understanding, code review and software testing.
The migration comes as TruKKer expands in Saudi Arabia, where technology companies are increasingly using local cloud infrastructure and AI applications to build and operate digital products.
Tencent Cloud launched its first cloud region in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia in 2025, backed by more than $150 million in investment and operational commitments for local infrastructure, operations and resources. The region includes two availability zones, allowing companies in the Kingdom to run cloud services locally.
In 2026, Tencent Cloud also received a Class C license from Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space and Technology Commission, the highest classification for cloud service providers in the Kingdom.
