The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has officially launched the fourth edition of the UAE Labour Market Award, opening applications for private sector companies and outstanding individuals until August 31, 2026. The initiative aims to spotlight leading business practices and exceptional talent contributing to the country’s economic growth.

Recognizing Excellence Across the Board
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the award is structured around four main categories designed to cover a broad spectrum of the private sector. This year’s edition introduces a specific focus on innovation, the future economy, and creating family-friendly work environments, aligning with the UAE’s declaration of 2026 as the “Year of the Family.”
The award categories recognize Emirati entrepreneurs, leading global companies operating in the UAE, and innovators driving the digital future. Additional categories focus on companies with exemplary standards in workforce protection and well-being, as well as those that champion a healthy work-life balance for families. Individuals are also celebrated across various roles, from influential leaders and tech specialists to support service professionals and caregivers.
Cash Prizes and ‘Diamond’ Status for Winners
The award offers significant incentives for both individuals and companies. Individual winners will receive cash prizes, with first place taking home AED 100,000, second place AED 75,000, and third place AED 50,000.
For companies, the rewards are operational. All winning establishments will automatically receive a ‘Diamond’ classification from MoHRE. This top-tier status grants them priority in transaction processing, dedicated support for technical challenges, and other premium services, providing a tangible business advantage.
Applications are being accepted electronically through the award’s official portal, riyada.mohre.gov.ae, until the August 31 deadline. All submissions will be evaluated by specialized committees against established governance criteria.
