WISE, an initiative of the Qatar Foundation, has opened applications for the 2026–2027 edition of its EdTech Accelerator, targeting for-profit startups in Qatar and around the world. Applications close on October 31, with the new cohort scheduled to begin in January 2027.

The program is aimed at seed-stage startups and companies approaching a Series A round that have moved beyond the minimum viable product stage. Applicants must have products in the market, demonstrate sales and user engagement, and show measurable educational impact, according to the announcement.

The program offers local and international tracks. Support includes specialist mentorship, strategic business development guidance, and connections to education and innovation networks and investors. The local track also helps startups establish a presence in Qatar by connecting them with ecosystem partners and available funding sources.

Over more than a decade, the WISE EdTech Accelerator has supported 46 startups from 20 countries whose solutions have reached more than 15 million people across 130 countries. The 2025–2026 cohort included eight startups that collectively reached more than 2.9 million learners and educators and expanded across Qatar and the wider MENA region.
