WSA Lebanon has extended its 2026 call for applications, giving Lebanese founders and startups until October 30, 2026, to submit digital solutions with meaningful local impact.

The programme is represented locally by the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon and is being run in partnership with the Talal and Madiha Zein AUB Innovation Park at the American University of Beirut. Up to eight solutions will be nominated to represent Lebanon in the global World Summit Awards.

Applications are open across eight categories: government and citizen engagement, health and wellbeing, learning and education, environment and green energy, culture and heritage, smart settlements and urbanization, business and commerce, and inclusion and empowerment.

WSA evaluates solutions based on their impact in local communities and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Selected applicants will be reviewed by an international Grand Jury in January 2027, which will choose 40 global winners, five in each category.

The winners will be invited to the WSA Global Congress, planned for February or March 2027, where eight category champions will be selected. The company said the international dates remain indicative and subject to confirmation.
