ZAZU and Visa Launch Digital Business Account for Moroccan SMEs

1 Min Read

Visa has partnered with Moroccan fintech ZAZU to launch a digital business account aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises manage finances and access digital payments in Morocco.

According to the announcement, the platform gives businesses a unified way to manage accounts, make payments and access financial services. It combines Visa’s payments infrastructure with ZAZU’s fintech capabilities, with the companies aiming to make modern financial tools more accessible to SMEs.

The launch comes as Morocco continues to develop its fintech and digital payments ecosystem. Digital business accounts can help entrepreneurs simplify financial operations, improve cash flow management and reduce reliance on traditional, cash-based processes.

For SMEs, wider access to digital payment services can also support participation in domestic and international commerce, while improving transaction transparency and operational efficiency.

The partnership reflects a broader model in which global payment networks work with local fintech companies to deliver financial products tailored to business needs. The company said the initiative will support financial inclusion and the continued digitisation of Morocco’s business ecosystem.
