The NeuroNexus Hackathon, a national initiative by ITIDA – EME Innovation Labs – Giza, has announced the winners of its “AI Meets IoT” competition. The event brought together university students, recent graduates, and developers to create impactful technology solutions, with four teams earning top honors for their innovative projects in healthcare and environmental sustainability.
Fostering Innovation In Health And Climate Tech
The hackathon challenged participants to develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. The competition was structured around two critical tracks designed to address global challenges.
The first track, “IoT & AI for Healthcare,” encouraged solutions aimed at transforming healthcare services, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal for Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3). The second track, “IoT & AI for Environmental Solutions,” tasked innovators with developing technologies to tackle urgent environmental issues, supporting the UN’s goal for Climate Action (SDG 13).
