In a significant boost for Dubai’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Dubai SME) has announced a strategic partnership with Emarat, the Emirates Petroleum Company. The collaboration is designed to provide substantial support to Emirati-owned startups and SMEs by improving their market access and reducing operational costs.

Unlocking Market Access And Reducing Costs

Through this partnership, members of Dubai SME will gain access to a valuable range of benefits across Emarat’s extensive network. Startups will be offered discounted rental rates for kiosks, pop-up corners, and high-visibility display areas at Emarat service stations, providing a direct channel to a large consumer base. The agreement also includes reduced registration fees, preferential rates for advertising and payment processing, and a jointly developed revenue-sharing model aimed at ensuring sustainable growth for participating businesses.

A Strategic Push For Dubai’s D33 Agenda

This public-private collaboration is strategically aligned with the ambitious goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033. Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, stated, “Our partnership with Emarat underscores the pivotal role of public-private collaboration in strengthening Dubai’s enterprising ecosystem, further enabling SMEs to strengthen their operational capabilities, expand visibility and reach, and contribute to sustainable growth.”

Ali Zayed Al Falasi, Acting Chief Retail Officer of Emarat, added, “By opening premium display spaces across our network and introducing lower fees, preferential service rates, and a sustainable revenue-sharing model, we’re helping SMEs reach customers faster and reduce the cost of growth. Working alongside Dubai SME, we will translate the ambition of D33 and the Year of Community 2025 into real outcomes.”
