Fourth Cohort Of Green SMEs Joins The Green Growth And Jobs Accelerator Project in Tunisia

[suspicious link removed] has officially welcomed 24 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the fourth cohort of the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Tunisia. This initiative is designed to empower businesses contributing to the circular economy and sustainable development, providing them with the tools necessary to scale their environmental and economic impact within the region.

Empowering Tunisian SMEs For A Sustainable Future

The selected SMEs represent a diverse range of sectors, including textiles, agriculture, technology, and eco-tourism. Throughout the program, these businesses will receive personalized mentorship and strategic guidance to enhance their investment readiness. By fostering industry connections and refining business models, the accelerator aims to accelerate Tunisia’s transition toward a green economy while simultaneously creating high-quality job opportunities.

A Collaborative Regional Initiative

The GGJAP is part of the broader Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP), funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The project is implemented across several MENA countries, including Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. In Tunisia, the program is executed through a partnership between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Flat6Labs, and New Silk Roads, highlighting a multilateral commitment to climate-resilient entrepreneurship in the Arab world.

The latest cohort includes a wide array of innovative entities such as CHITELIX, DOURBIA, Grow It Yourself, Agaman, Aicos, Ayn, Dar Ben Gacem, DrugIT, Ecoland, El Rochen, Farm Khachnaoui, Farmavans, GeoPRO, GNV Textile, KIAN Technology, LR Move, Milim, Nahoul, NETAALEM, Pigmentoco, Terapia Ozoverde, TABI3IA, Water Spirit, and zerriaa. These companies are expected to undergo rigorous training to align their operations with global sustainability standards and attract international venture capital.
