Coders HQ, a UAE initiative focused on strengthening the country’s programming community, has been accredited by Apple as an authorised education training centre, according to the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office.
The accreditation gives Coders HQ access to Apple’s global network of accredited educational institutions, along with specialised learning resources and training programmes centred on app development and Apple’s Swift programming language.
Through Apple’s Develop in Swift resources, participants will receive practical training in designing, developing and testing applications. The programme will also support creative thinking and technical problem-solving, while introducing aspiring developers to international programming initiatives and app development challenges.
The accreditation will create opportunities for trainer development, knowledge exchange with educational institutions worldwide and learning experiences aligned with changing industry needs.
The announcement was made as part of UAE Codes Day, held annually on 29 October. It reflects the UAE’s broader efforts to expand access to specialised programming education and build digital skills.
Launched in January 2022 under the National Programme for Coders, Coders HQ works through programmes and partnerships with global technology companies to support collaboration, knowledge sharing and technology-driven projects.
