The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, in partnership with Samsung Gulf Electronics, has celebrated the graduation of more than 130 students from the Samsung Innovation Program. The initiative marks a significant step in the nation’s strategic efforts to cultivate advanced digital skills and build a future-ready workforce.
A Strategic Push for Digital Competency
Conducted from October to mid-December 2025, the intensive 350-hour programme was designed to equip participants with practical, in-demand knowledge. The curriculum focused on core areas of modern technology, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, Python programming, neural networks, and deep learning.
The initiative employed a blended learning model, combining self-paced digital modules with live instructional sessions, hands-on assignments, and continuous mentoring to ensure applied learning and real-world readiness.
Aligning With National AI Ambitions
Officials emphasized that talent development is a national priority, directly aligning with the goals of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy. This focus on upskilling is seen as a critical driver for maintaining the nation’s competitive edge and fostering a culture of innovation.
By preparing a new generation of professionals for emerging technology sectors, the programme directly supports the country’s digital capabilities and its ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving global tech landscape.
A Government-Industry Collaboration Model
The collaboration between the UAE’s AI Office and Samsung showcases a powerful model for public-private partnership in advancing tech education. Samsung noted that the initiative is part of its global corporate social responsibility effort, the Innovation Campus, which aims to enhance digital literacy and empower the next generation of innovators.
This shared commitment is vital for building a sustainable talent pipeline capable of supporting the UAE’s long-term digital economy ambitions and solidifying its position as a regional tech hub.
