F5 and Forcepoint Partner to Secure Enterprise AI Operations Across the UAE and Global Markets

5 Min Read

As organizations aggressively deploy artificial intelligence across copilots, assistants, and automated workflows, traditional security frameworks are struggling to keep pace with dynamic data flows. To close this vulnerability gap, F5 and Forcepoint have announced a strategic alliance aimed at securing enterprise AI throughout its entire lifecycle, from initial data classification to runtime protection.

Quick Facts

  • Secures enterprise AI from data discovery to runtime execution.

  • Combines Forcepoint DSPM with F5 AI Guardrails technology.

  • Delivers continuous telemetry and risk mitigation for AI models.

Bridging the Gap Between Data Governance and Runtime AI

Many enterprises face complex operational hurdles when attempting to track where sensitive data resides and how it moves through active AI systems. While data governance and application security are critical, they often operate in isolated silos. This creates blind spots between established security policies and actual AI behavior in production environments.

To address these vulnerabilities, the partnership integrates Forcepoint’s AI-native Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) with the red teaming and AI guardrails functionality found within the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP).

This combined architecture provides runtime protections for AI applications, models, and agents. Security teams can now identify data vulnerabilities in real time, prioritize specific AI use cases based on risk levels, and enforce strict runtime controls over AI interactions.

John Maddison, Chief Marketing Officer at F5, noted the urgency of adapting security protocols to match the speed of deployment.

“Enterprises are moving AI initiatives from experimentation to production faster than most security programs can adapt,” said Maddison. “By combining Forcepoint’s deep data intelligence and contextual awareness with F5’s advanced application security and runtime protections, organizations eliminate operational security gaps with unmatched confidence and control in their AI operations.”

Connecting Data Intelligence with Active Protection

Securing AI requires a continuous lifecycle approach. Organizations must first determine exactly what data is safe for AI consumption before enforcing active policies in production.

Forcepoint provides the foundational layer by discovering, classifying, and governing critical business data across cloud, SaaS, and endpoint environments. This visibility allows enterprises to isolate appropriate data for AI use.

Once the data is active, F5 secures the system at runtime. The F5 AI Red Team and Guardrails capabilities monitor APIs, gateways, and applications to detect prompt abuse, prevent data exfiltration, and defend AI workloads from active threat actors.

Naveen Palavalli, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Forcepoint, emphasized the inadequacy of legacy security models.

“AI has fundamentally redefined data security, exposing static policies for what they are: inadequate,” said Palavalli. “F5 and Forcepoint are establishing a new standard of continuous, adaptive protection that follows data from the moment of creation through every stage of its lifecycle, including the runtime layer where AI systems operate, evolve, and expand risk vectors.”

Relevance for the MENA Enterprise AI Ecosystem

With the strategic announcement anchored by a Dubai dateline, this global alliance carries immediate utility for the Middle East and North Africa. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the broader GCC are rapidly scaling AI adoption across both public sector initiatives and enterprise operations.

As regional entities build localized AI models and integrate global LLMs into their infrastructure, strict adherence to national data sovereignty and governance frameworks is mandatory. The F5-Forcepoint integration provides MENA-based CISOs with a pragmatic framework to adopt AI at scale. By aligning data security with API protection, regional organizations can safely operationalize AI deployments without needing to rebuild their existing security architectures from scratch.
