Saudi Arabia Opens Applications for Three Accelerators Targeting Agri-Tech, Water, and Sustainability

The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has opened applications for a new suite of accelerator programs designed to support growth-stage startups across the Kingdom. The initiative, run by the ministry’s General Administration for Entrepreneurship, features three distinct programs: Sunbolah, Sedrah, and Sahabah, each focusing on a critical national sector.

A Strategic Push into Key Sectors

The launch of these accelerators marks a focused effort to cultivate innovation within industries vital to Saudi Arabia’s development goals. Each program is tailored to a specific vertical, aiming to build a robust ecosystem for entrepreneurs working on solutions in these areas.

Sunbolah is dedicated to the agriculture and food sector, Sedrah will support startups in the environment and sustainability space, and Sahabah is centered on the water sector. The initiative aims to empower founders to scale their ventures by providing targeted resources and industry-specific expertise.

Comprehensive Support for Growth-Stage Ventures

Selected startups will gain access to a comprehensive support structure designed to fast-track their development. The programs offer direct mentorship and guidance from a network of industry experts and specialists.

Participants will also benefit from specialized training sessions to build their skills, integration into a collaborative entrepreneurial environment, and practical support in obtaining necessary licenses. To ensure long-term success, the ministry will provide continuous follow-up and guidance even after the formal program concludes.

The accelerators will take place in Riyadh, and entrepreneurs have from April 14 to May 12, 2026, to submit their applications through the official platform.
