The second edition of the Little Entrepreneurs Market in Muscat attracted 25,700 visitors, giving 100 young entrepreneurs aged 11 to 18 a chance to test their businesses with real customers.

Organised by Al Mouj Muscat at Al Mouj Walk on October 23 and 24, the market doubled its participant count compared with its first edition. The businesses offered products ranging from food and beverages to accessories, handmade goods and home-based projects.

Over the two-day event, participants worked through key parts of running a business, including product development, pricing, sales management and customer service. The experience also gave them a closer look at market needs and how to improve their ideas.

Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Musen, acting CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, said early opportunities to learn through practice can help young people build confidence, make decisions and turn ideas into businesses with growth potential. The initiative, he added, supports a stronger culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in Oman.

The event forms part of Al Mouj Muscat’s efforts to support Omani brands and local ventures at different stages of development. Its new season of The Market will run at Al Mouj Walk from November 7, 2026, to February 6, 2027, offering local projects more opportunities to reach customers.
