Fostering a Culture of Dialogue

The initiative kicked off with an interactive meeting between SPARK’s CEO, Hussain Al Mahmoudi, and a group of young Emirati employees from various departments. The session was designed to create direct communication channels, allowing leadership to hear firsthand the ideas, aspirations, and professional experiences of its local workforce.

This move is part of a broader institutional strategy to cultivate a work environment that encourages creativity and invests in young talent, supporting the UAE’s vision for a competitive, knowledge-based economy.

Youth at the Forefront of Innovation

During the event, several Emirati employees delivered presentations outlining current workflows, future plans, and development proposals. These presentations highlighted suggestions for improving institutional performance and strengthening collaboration between departments.

Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of the Park, emphasized the importance of this direct engagement. He noted that the next phase of growth requires greater involvement of youth in decision-making and providing them with a supportive platform to turn their ideas into concrete initiatives.

“Empowering Emirati talent remained a key priority of SPARK,” Al Mahmoudi stated. He added that the Park is “doubling down on its efforts to attract and nurture Emirati talent through training and professional development opportunities, and by involving them in innovation and research projects, enhancing their readiness to lead future sectors.”

Open discussions during the meeting allowed participants to share perspectives on developing the work ecosystem, reinforcing their role in achieving SPARK’s strategic goals.

A Strategic Push for Emiratization

SPARK’s initiative directly supports the national Emiratization agenda adopted by Sharjah and the wider UAE. By actively engaging Emirati talent in dialogue and decision-making, the Park is positioning its local workforce as key partners in building an innovation-driven future.

The program underlines a commitment to empowering youth as a national priority for sustainable economic growth and solidifies SPARK’s role in creating an environment where local talent can lead the next wave of technological development.
