Call for Expression of Interest Overview
This program aims to empower Business Support Organizations (BSOs) to act as enablers that bridge the gap between policy and SMEs within the green economy. The contracted partners will implement a cross-cutting green finance component, supporting financial institutions to better serve circular economy enterprises while promoting climate-impact measurement and sustainable agriculture.
Key Benefits
- Financial Support: A maximum allocated budget of €60,000 for project implementation.
- Capacity Building: Access to specialized training, toolboxes, and coaching focused on green finance facilitation.
- Networking: Participation in regional campaigns and national working groups with ministries, banks, and impact investors.
- Strategic Partnerships: Support in facilitating at least 10 MoUs between BSOs and financial institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Legal Status: Must operate in the public or private sector on a non-profit basis.
- Location: Must have actual operations in Lebanon.
- Financial Requirements: Must provide minimum 30% co-funding from non-EU sources and be VAT exempt.
- Experience: Must have a proven track record in green economy, climate action, or entrepreneurship support, along with grant management experience.
- Documentation: Required documents include tax clearance, past two years of annual reports, external audits, and CVs of key staff.

- Q&A Deadline: May 21, 2026 (17:00 Local Time).
- Project Duration: June 2026 to December 2026.
- Inception & Mapping: June – July 2026.
- Training & Piloting: September – November 2026.
- Final Reporting: December 2026.
